The 3rd course on non-invasive mechanical ventilation for emergency medicine in the Canary Islands was held at the medical centre Hospital San Roque Maspalomas and was a success regarding attendance.

The main purpose of the Non-invasive Mechanical Ventilation Work Group (GTVMNI, as per the Spanish acronym), who organized this workshop, was no other than to continue to make progress in teaching non-invasive mechanical ventilation at a national level, as they find it necessary to transfer knowledge and encourage the collaboration among doctors, hospitals, health institutions, scientific societies and entities.

This was a multidisciplinary course specially aimed at emergency doctors, intensive care specialists, anaesthetists, cardiologists, pulmonologists…

All participants received a certificate as a continued training activity from the Andalusian Agency for Healthcare Quality.
